Artist and regular professor at the Brera Academy of Milan since 1999
and professor of “Form and figuration Laboratory” at Venice Architecture
Faculty - IUAV. He showed at the Venice Biennale in 1990, at the MARTa
in Herford in the 2001. He is often invited by museums and cities to
make public works: in Gent at the S.M.A.K. (2000); in Bergamo for the
l’ACEB (2000), in Istanbul, on the Bosforo bridge (2001); in Kanazawa,
for the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art (2002); for the city
of Rome, on the occasion of the Jubilee 2000, for the Autonomous Province
of Bolzen, in collaboration with Museion (2003). In 2004 he made a permanent
work for the Tiscali head office in Cagliari and he had a solo show
at the Magazzino d’Arte Contemporanea gallery in Rome. In 2005 he presented
a work at Villa Manin, in Passariano. He has been the president of the
Italian jury at the last edition of the Italian Studio Program at the
MOMA/PS1 Contemporary Art Center of New York.
