Luenzo 2001, Cesani, 14%

Made in the heart land of the famous Tuscan white Vernaccia, Luenzo by Cesani is a wine which express the concept of terroir at its best, also thanks to its indigenous grape, Sangiovese and Colorino.
The wine matures for eighteen months in barriques and six months in the bottle.
A very bright and dense ruby colour, with some purple hues, this is a wine with loads of nutmeg, cloves, cinnamon and pepper.
Some ripe cherries and some very pleasant chocolate and orange peel notes add more complexity to this block buster.
On the palate it shows a very balanced structure with majestic tannins put in a perfect balance and a long finish. It could go on forever!
