José Antonio Hernàndez-Diez
has decided to locate his work in the cellars of the Castello
di Linari, installing two gigantic cardboard (such as the tetra
pack wine cartoons available in supermarkets)containers on a basis
made of old wooden small beams, a vertical prosthesis of two televisions
transmitting the video of an unlikely fruit from which some liquid
is flowing.
Opposite, scattered among barrels and beams, three pizza boxes contain
a video showing the joined tips of the feet of a new-born emerging
from a subtle membrane. Apology of junk food and critique of the
consumerism society: the ghost of globalisation flutter around the
cellar.
