Guide to Arte all'Arte
I think I will send around your area, between San Gimignano and
Volterra, the old Artusi and that delightful pest of Pinocchio.
I would like to make them talk of delicious food and wine which
your land offers. Poor Pinocchio does not know very much of cuisine
and most of the time he gets only pears cores, while the old
Artusi knows far too much, although we could say that he is a bit
old fashioned
a classic.
Then the two will go also to Poggibonsi to please Mario who lives
there, and when you, beauty-fanatics, will leave him, they will
go as well. I can say no more, although I know more
unless
I decide to write a couple of pages on the wonders of eating bread
and drinking water! Ciao, Nico
