I think I will send around your area, between San Gimignano and Volterra, the old Artusi and that delightful pest of Pinocchio. I would like to make them talk of delicious food and wine which your land offers. Poor Pinocchio does not know very much of cuisine and most of the time he gets only pear’s cores, while the old Artusi knows far too much, although we could say that he is a bit old fashioned … a “classic”.
